Piloncillo is as minimally-processed as you can possibly get when it comes to sugar. We take cane juice and boil it down to a thick, crystalline syrup that’s poured into a cone-shaped mold that hardens. Our Piloncillo puts plain old brown sugar to shame. Use as a sweetener, a spice, or both. It is best known as an alternative to white sugar in cookies, caramel, ice cream and other desserts to add a smoky, earthy, rum-like flavor.

As piloncillo is unrefined, it retains naturally occurring vitamins and nutrients, like potassium, calcium and vitamins A, B, C, D, and E, which makes it a healthier option over white sugar.
