Homemade Chorizo Sausage Patties

Homemade Chorizo Sausage Patties

Rather than buying your chorizo from the store, try using Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Chorizo Mix to make your own at home!

Yields 6 to 8 servings

 

Ingredients:

2 lbs. ground pork (or ground beef)
10 tablespoons Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Chorizo Mix
3 ounces distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

 

Directions:

1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
2. Cover and chill the mixture for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours to give the flavors time to combine.
3. Shape the mixture into patties by hand and fry them in a skillet with oil or char-broil on the grill.

NOTE: The sausage will develop a better flavor if the ingredients are mixed together the day before cooking.
