Spring Shrimp Ceviche

No stove, no problem! Celebrate the season of renewal with this delicious and easy Spring Shrimp Ceviche recipe. Fajita Seasoning isn’t just for Fajitas! As one of our most versatile seasonings and can be used on most any dish to add and enhance flavor.

Yields 4 servings


1lb peeled and deveined shrimp
½ cup lime juice
1 medium red onion, chopped finely
2-3 medium size garlic cloves, chopped finely
1 jalapeno, deseeded and chopped finely
1 avocado, diced
Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Fajita Seasoning



1) Boil 6 cups of water. Add 1lb of shrimp and let cook until just pink, about 3 minutes.
2) Remove shrimp from heat and strain out half of the water. Add ice to the remainder to stop the shrimp from overcooking.
3) When the shrimp are cool enough to handle, dice them into small pieces.
4) Combine the shrimp pieces, onion, garlic, jalapeno, avocado and lime juice into a bowl. Using a spatula or large spoon, stir the ingredients together.
5) Add 2-3 teaspoons of Fajita Seasoning, or more to taste.
